Isight: the process integrator and parametric optimizer

Isight is a solution that provides engineers with a suite of visual and flexible tools for creating simulation process flows—consisting of a variety of applications, including commercial CAD/CAE software, internally developed programs, and Excel spreadsheets—in order to automate the exploration of design alternatives and identification of optimal performance parameters.

Isight enables users to automate simulation process flows and leverage advanced techniques such as Design of Experiments, Optimization, Approximations, and Design for Six Sigma to thoroughly explore the design space. Advanced, interactive postprocessing tools allow engineers to explore the design space from multiple points of view.

Components

Isight comes equipped with a standard library of components, which form the building blocks of process flows. A component is a container with its own interface for integrating and running a particular simulation application directly within Isight.

The component architecture also supports the integration of customer-proprietary applications. This open integration technology is generic in order to work with a wide range of internally developed scripts, applications, and databases.

Isight advantages

The solution will eliminate manual repetitive simulation tasks of the engineer (like for example preparing input files), will standardize corporate simulation processes, will optimize structural, fluid, magnetic, … behavior of designs, will help with material calibrations and is easy to use with its direct interfaces to Abaqus, fe-safe, ANSYS, NASTRAN, Excel, Matlab, Solidworks, CATIA, Pro/MECHANICA, UG-NX, and other simulation packages.

Power of the Portfolio

Isight (together with Abaqus, fe-safe and Tosca) is included in Extended Packaging, allowing unified access to all solution technologies within the portfolio through a single token pool.

4RealSim and Isight

4RealSim is a SIMULIA reseller of the process integration and design optimization software Isight in the countries Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg (BeNeLux).

Our team, with multiple years of experience in these kind of software packages, consists of 6 engineers. They are available to solve technical issues you might encounter when using the software or to provide class room trainings (in our office or at the customer site) and mentoring.

Isight is used by customers which are active in the aerospace & defense, architecture & construction, consumer goods, comsumer packaged goods, energy, high tech, industrial equipment, life sciences, marine, offshore, consultancy and automotive industry.
