Introduction Verification, Validation, and Uncertainty Quantification
Ensuring the mathematical accuracy, physical realism, and credibility of your computer model (FEM, CFD, or others) is critical for supporting decision-making in product development. How can you be confident that your model accurately reflects reality? How do you quantify the uncertainties associated with its predictions? How can you demonstrate to your management team that your model is worth the investment?
To address these questions, various methodologies and frameworks have been developed over the past decades, collectively known as Verification, Validation, and Uncertainty Quantification (VVUQ). 4RealSim has extensive knowledge and expertise in VVUQ and offers a dedicated seminar on this topic, with a strong focus on the on-hands material.
Verification, Validation, and Uncertainty Quantification Training objectives and benefits
– Develop Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of VVUQ, including fundamental concepts, methodologies, and existing standards.
– Plan Simulation V&V: Learn to design and implement simulation verification and validation, including planning physical test programs.
– Enhance Synergy: Improve the integration of virtual and physical testing in validation processes.
– Learn Best Practices: Acquire best practices for effective VVUQ implementation.
Who should attend?
